About Volunteering
South Brandon Sports is a 100% volunteer non for profit organization. Imagine a baseball experience for children with confusing try-outs, few coaches, no uniforms, unsafe fields, umpires that show up late, and no score keepers. This is what it would be like with no volunteers. Training and support are available. To keep our program of 230+ children running, your help is necessary. The jobs can be fun and you will get to meet families in the community while setting a good example for our children by showing the importance of community service and volunteering!
Anyone wanting to become a volunteer must complete a Volunteer Application. Those wanting to be a head coach or assistant coach must complete a Coach Application.
Refund Policy
In the event a player elects to withdraw from the program, refunds will be provided as follows:
- *Player withdrawal prior to Team Assignment.
- 100% of registration fee less a $20 administrative fee.
- *Player withdrawal after Team Assignment.
- 50% of registration fee
- Player withdrawal after first practice.
- No Refund
Refund(s) for player withdrawal due to unforeseen circumstances (injury, moving) will be considered by the South Brandon Sports Board on an individual basis. All refunds will be in the form of a check mailed to the address on the Refund Request Form unless notified differently. South Brandon Sports is not responsible for lost checks and may charge a cancellation fee to void a check and reissue.
